G1 Phone 1GB Memory Cards

The Google G1 phone comes with a G1 Phone 1 GB Memory Card installed. If you are going to be storing a lot of music on your G1 phone, you should acquire more memory. A 1GB memory card can hold about 250 songs. The G1 phone can be upgraded with memory cards to a maximum of 16GB.Even though Google originally said that the Google G1 would initially support up to an 8GB micro SDHC card, and 16GB after a firmware upgrade, this appears to not be the case. Recently a Google spokesperson confirmed that the current version of Android can handle the new SanDisk 16GB card right out of the box.
