G1 Phone 8GB Memory Cards

Most users of the Google G1 phone will find that the G1 Phone 8GB memory cards more than meets their needs. With the 8GB memory cards there should be storage space for several full length movies, nearly two thousand JPEG photographs, and about five hundred songs…And yet we recently learned that the Google G1 phone as shipped in October 2008 is able to accept the ScanDisk16GB Memory Card without modifications. So we can watch about five full-length movies, look at four thousand JPEG photographs, and listen to about a thousand songs.
