Although the number of iPhone applications continues to increase, these applications are only accessible through Apple’s Application Store, and Apple has the final say in deciding which applications get accepted. Some users don’t like this system. Android will be available to other phones which, as we understand it, should begin soon. The potential number of T-Mobile G1 applications is unlimited. Yet, it’s too early to know whether mobile application developers will congregate enthusiastically around the Android platform.
